Categories of Personal Data

SCR design s.r.o. may process the following categories of your personal data:

• identification and contact details: first name, last name, company or business name, telephone number, email address and IP address;
• information related to your enquiries and requirements: information concerning your interest in our services, a potential or ongoing project, requested services and other requirements you provide to us;
• information from our mutual communication: data obtained through our website, contact forms, email communication and other related communication (hereinafter referred to as “personal data”).

Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data

SCR design s.r.o. may process your personal data for the following purposes:

• receiving and responding to your enquiries, providing information about our services and preparing proposals based on your requirements;
• taking steps necessary before entering into a contractual relationship and providing agreed services;
• managing communication and cooperation in connection with ongoing projects and client relationships;
• analysing your preferences for marketing activities that may be relevant to you and offering services that may correspond to your needs, where permitted by applicable law;
• receiving, reviewing and responding to complaints relating to the activities or services of SCR design s.r.o.;

We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection, on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) – where processing is necessary to prepare a proposal at your request, enter into a contractual relationship or provide agreed services.
• Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) – where processing is necessary to comply with accounting, tax or other statutory obligations.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) – where processing is necessary for the operation and security of our business, the protection of our rights or other legitimate business interests, provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) – where we ask for your consent, including for the use of optional analytics cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

We will not process your personal data for purposes incompatible with those described above unless such processing is required or permitted by applicable law or you have provided the relevant consent.

Retention Period of Personal Data

SCR design s.r.o. will retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in the section Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data, to comply with applicable legal obligations and to protect the rights and legitimate interests of SCR design s.r.o.

Personal data subject to statutory retention periods will be retained for the periods specified by applicable legislation. Once these periods expire, the relevant data will be deleted or anonymised.

Personal data that is not subject to a statutory retention period will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Once that purpose no longer applies, the data will be deleted or anonymised unless further retention is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where personal data is processed on the basis of consent, it will generally be processed until the consent is withdrawn or until the relevant purpose ceases to exist.

• Right to object: where processing is based on legitimate interests, you have the right, under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation;
• Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal;
• Right to lodge a complaint: if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

The competent supervisory authority in Slovakia is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky).

Your personal data may be obtained from:

• you, your statutory representative or authorised representative;
• the company or business entity you represent or for which you act as a contact person;
• a contractual or business partner involved in the relevant project or business relationship;
• publicly available sources, particularly public databases, registers and company information.

SCR design s.r.o. requires certain personal data in order to respond to your enquiry, provide information about our services, prepare a proposal, enter into or perform a contractual relationship, provide the agreed services or comply with our legal obligations.

Providing personal data is generally voluntary. However, if you do not provide information that is necessary for these purposes, we may not be able to respond to your request, enter into a contractual relationship or provide the requested services.
